Erik Gunnar Mortensen, Emmy Award-winning series camera assistant, died on a weekday after a motorcycle accident on a Southern California highway. In this crash, no vehicles were involved, and the impact is under investigation.
The accident happened at around 6:40 p.m. on Highway 74 between Hemet and Mountain Center.
Mortensen was transformed to Hemet Global Medical Center, where he died around an hour, the Riverside County Coroner's Office report described.
