The 'Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie and his wife Maria Cahill Henrie welcomed their 3rd baby, a baby girl.

Baby #3:

The 33-year-old actor took to his Instagram handle to announce to the world that he and his wife Maria welcomed their third child and shared a family photo in the hospital and a close-up of his newborn daughter.

Meet Gemma Clare Henrie!

'How I Met Your Mother' star captioned, 'It's a Girl!!! Gemma Clare Henrie was born 7lbs 15oz at 3:21 am. Maria is currently enjoying the most deserved nap ever, haha.'

David gushed his thanks for God's greatest gift:

David Henrie shared that Maria stuck to her drug-free birth plan, saying, 'I couldn't be more in awe of her!' Leaning on his faith, the actor continued, 'Thanks be to God for the greatest gift on earth, and Maria and I thank you all for your prayers. I received many messages, and I appreciate it.'

The actor also shouts out to the hospital staff:

David then took a moment to shout out the hospital employees who tended to Maria, writing, 'a huge shout out to our nurses Morgan and Sofia and our midwife Katy! Y'all are spectacular and thank you all the nurses out there we appreciate you.'

Multiple miscarriages:

Gemma Clare Henrie's joyous arrival comes nearly three years after Maria suffered multiple miscarriages. In December, David talks about the couple's struggles to build their family, reflecting on their losses and journey to a third baby.

David Henrie revealed:

David shared his Instagram stories, 'As I sit here overlooking the ocean, I am a bit overwhelmed with gratitude for how awesome my wife has been the past couple of years.'

Day of Mourning!

He recalled that Maria suffered her fourth miscarriage on Christmas Day 2019, and they thought from then on that Christmas would be a day of mourning.

David Henrie added:

The actor admitted that God has another plan, 'Christmas Day 2020, she gave birth naturally to my son James.'

Maria suffered another miscarriage before Gemma:

David continued, 'Now, this past year Maria suffered yet another miscarriage, our 5th. I am proud of her because she did what needed to be done to heal, and now we've been given another chance with our 3rd child.'

Wedding life!

David Henrie, 33, and Maria Cahill Henrie, 31got married in 2017. The duo is also parents to 3-year-old daughter Pia Henrie and a 19-month-old son named James Henrie.
