Her lead role in Netflix's Interceptor, which stars the blonde bombshell in a leading role, has recently made headlines across the globe.

It has been a hot topic all over town since it was released in early June, despite the fact that the action-adventure film received, ahem, mixed reviews from critics.

It is currently ranked as the top film on Netflix in many countries since its release. It opens with Pataky playing a plucky army captain who is trying to prevent a missile attack on the US in order to save the country.

There's no doubt that the actress's fitness regime and workout schedule have already gained her recognition.

But her incredible four-month transformation to appear in the film wowed audiences as well. But it didn’t come easy – she worked hard to prepare for the role.

“In order to have the same physique as the strong women in the US army, those girls, they have really worked hard to prepare themselves,” she told Australia's Now to Love that she wanted to be strong and fit.
