Britney Spears is once again caught in another controversy as Tik Tok user claims her marriage was all a part of a big game plan and states he has proof to back up his claims.
This recent drama comes amid the singer's recent ongoing divorce from her husband of a year Sam Asghari who was also her long-time partner of six years. But some people on Tik Tok have a conspiracy theory brewing that the duo's wedding was a facade and never really happened
Since officially announcing her divorce from her husband of just 14 months, Britney Spears has been making the headlines. The singer who recently got married to Sam Asghari in a beautiful wedding in her mansion last year, was rumored to have cheated on her husband which led to him filing for a divorce.
However, some rumors have started circulating about Britney's soon-to-be ex-husband and there's a new conspiracy theory brewing on TikTok regarding Spear's wedding to Asgari. Here's all you need to know!
The theory going around TikTok claims that Britney Spears's wedding was fake and the singer was not even present at the so-called wedding.
This theory began to circulate as soon as the news of her split from her husband became official. According to the conspiracy theorists her marriage photos shared was photoshopped using Artificial Intelligence to make it seem like the singer was present at the wedding.
This theory initially gained fame in May 2023 when The Conspiracy Bestie shared a two-part TikTok series that presented various glitches spotted in wedding videos and photos of the couple.
This was supposed to indicate the involvement of artificial intelligence in fabricating the 41-year-old's presence in the ceremony. Though this effect might be due to the editing of the photo and videos for the beauty effect, the presence of AI cannot be ruled out.
on August 15, 2023, another user that goes by Thatsdebatablepod gathered evidence speculating that not only was the pop-princess absent from her wedding, but also that there's a chance she might have passed away.
This particular theory is quite far-fetched as Britney has made public appearances since her wedding. However, if these conspiracy theories hold, then the current split between her and Asghari is also staged since they wouldn't need a divorce to end an imaginary marriage.
After her alleged cheating, Britney took to Instagram to convey her feeling to the whole media circus that has followed since the news about the couple's divorce broke.
She wrote, 'As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!!'
The singer also officially thanked her friends that supported her, saying, 'In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!'
The star acknowledged that her social media accounts might convey a perfect picture but that is not the case. She disclosed she's always had to hide her 'weaknesses' or else her dad's 'strong soldier' would send her to doctors to get 'fixed.'
Britney and Sam were together for 6 years, and they tied the knot in California on June 9, 2022, and reportedly the couple signed a prenuptial agreement.
