90 Day Fiance Spoilers tells that; apparently, there have been rumors surrounding Binyam Shibre’s first son with his American ex-wife, saying that Biniyam gave up parental rights to the child.
The only thing that we know for sure about Biniyam’s first son is that he bears a striking resemblance to Ariel because Bini posted a picture of him last year on his Instagram, saying how much he missed him. We also know that he had a medical condition that needed him to be in the US for it to be treated, much like Aviel.
However, we do not know the specifics of that condition or if it were even similar to what Aviel had. (Baby Aviel ended up having a hernia that Ariela thought would be better treated in the US, and after her traumatic C-section in an Ethiopian hospital, we can’t blame her.)
The thing is, we have never seen Bibi’s first son aside from the one picture that he posted on social media last year, so that has led to speculation that Biniyam, along with getting a divorce from his ex-wife, somehow gave up all parental rights as well. Biniyam addressed it on his IG story, saying that it simply wasn’t true and that he had not given up any parental rights to his first son.
“It has come to my attention that there are rumors being spread concerning my first son. Normally I ignore false rumors. However, in this case, it could potentially hurt my son in the future if he were to read them. I love my son too much to ever give up my rights or let someone else adopt him.
He has never been legally adopted by anyone. Also, in most of the US, even if you get your parental rights terminated, you still have to pay child support. But that would never ever factor into my decision-making. I want to always be there to support him in whatever way he needs.”
The thing is, just because Biniyam is in the US now does not mean that he has a custody agreement with his ex. Binyam goes on to say, “Not only has this part of my life been extremely painful, but it has been difficult on the people I love. Out of respect for my son please don’t continue to spread hateful misinformation. Thank you very much.” Straight from the horse’s mouth, folks.
Also, it’s pretty clear that what happened between them really tore Biniyam’s family apart because they all thought that Ariela was going to act the same way his ex-wife did and skip town with Baby Aviel and dump Biniyam. Almost correct, she skipped town but took Bini with her.
About his first son, however, his ex and son have never agreed to be filmed about his first son, which is probably why Biniyam doesn’t discuss them. It does not necessarily mean that he doesn’t have contact with the child; it just means we won’t see it on an episode of 90 days. Stay tuned!!!
