Amy Winehouse Corpse Cake: Neil Patrick Harris canceled due to this disgusting act?

Neil Patrick Harris disrespected Amy Whitehouse to this extent? Why?   

Social media watchdogs are criticizing Neil Patrick Harris after a photo he posted 11 years ago reappeared online and stunned fans once again. How did it resurface after so long?  

According to BuzzFeed, a photo taken at Justin Mikita,s 2011 Halloween party showed a dish titled ,The Corpse of Amy Winehouse.,

The picture was immediately taken down after it was posted by Mikita and showed a mutilated Amy Winehouse doppelganger.  

Just three months before Halloween, the ,Rehab, singer passed away at the age of 27.   

After writer Ashley Reed tweeted about it on Tuesday, the ill-advised dish from the 48-year-old ,How I Met Your Mother, star,s party went viral.  

The tweet from Reed, who has since changed her account to private, reads: ,I cannot believe how many very online people over the age of 25 are just now learning about Neil Patrick Harris, disgusting Amy Winehouse cake.,

It is unclear what her intentions were when she sought to remind people of what Harris did.   

Although she already switched her account to private, many have read her statements. After all, she only sent one tweet. Additionally, those who read what she wrote quickly made her posts viral.  

,Neil Patrick Harris had a cake mimicking Amy Winehouse,s corpse soon after she died. I,ve hated him ever since,, her second tweet read.  

Fans expressed their disgust at the resurfaced images on Twitter. Reddit users discussed Harris, party foul in a subreddit for the mystery gossip blogger Deuxmoi.   

There were some who said they all lost their ,respect, for the actor at this point.   

,A discussion about Amy Winehouse,s treatment in the early 2000s and 2010s by the misogynistic celebrity media machine and those who were oblivious to it is long overdue.

Neil Patrick Harris, f -ked up corpse cake is just the tip of the iceberg,, one critic lamented. 

Several followed suit, asking not only what happened to Amy Winehouse to be treated that way, but also what got into Neil Patrick Harris, as his behavior was, to say the least, disturbing, disrespectful, and disgusting.

A few said the post turned them off from watching any of the actor,s projects, including ,Series of Unfortunate Events, on Netflix.
