Alicia Silverstone's 11-year-old son still sleeps with his mother, Whoopi Goldberg disapproves of the situation

Her close relationship with Bear, 11, her 11-year-old son, was revealed by the actress, 45. The conversation began after Whoopi shared a clip of Alicia speaking on the Ellen Fisher Podcast about her 'approach to motherhood'.

'As a mother, I am natural and loving,' Alicia revealed to the podcast host. As she continued, 'I believe in love and nature... but our society is afraid of nature and afraid of love.'

She later added, 'We still sleep together, and I'll be in trouble if I say that, but I don't care.' Whoopi looked stunned as the clip ended, and as her live audience laughed, she simply shook her head.

'There are no 11-year-olds I know who want to sleep with me,' the Ghost actress stated before adding,' I have little kids. I have an eight-year-old who likes to hang out...'

After throwing it to her panel, Whoopi, 66, reacting to Lindsey Granger's reaction,  'I don’t know Alicia Silverstone, but I feel like this is a little clueless.”

Sunny Hostin agreed with Joy Behar's opinion, saying, 'I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Europeans do it.' Sunny echoed Joy's sentiments.

The legendary Whoopi Goldberg commented, 'Most kids of a certain age don't want to sleep with you.' Fans on social media were also divided, with one writing: '... Think of what his classmates will say...' 'Nothing to do with me,' said another viewer.

Her ex-husband Christopher Jarecki shares the preteen with Alicia, who back in 2020 revealed she bathed Bear when he was nine years old.

It seems Whoopi has no problem expressing herself lately as she looked uncomfortable during an NSFW discussion on air a few days ago. During a discussion about removing the stigma from sex education for children, the View ladies each had their say.

There is no doubt in my mind that grade school kids are experimenting with things; they are touching, they are feeling, and they are curious about what they're doing.
