In the TLC show, 90-day Fiancé couple Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett filed for divorce after six years of marriage to Chantel Everett.
Pedro Jimeno documented the files in the court in May that he described his marriage as 'irretrievably broken,' and the two got separated a month back. 90-day fiancé fashion, it's not looking like an amicable split either!
On the very same day, he filed for divorce and filed an order for an emergency hearing claiming her wife Chantel Everett withdrew 25k from their joint account just five days before their split. He then alleges that Chantel Everett transferred that cash into an account in her and her sister Winter Everett's name.
He tried to solve the issue but was unsuccessful, and now he had come to court to seek justice, asking the judge to force her to transfer the money back into a joint account until the divorce was settled.
The judge denied his request for the emergency hearing but plans to hold a hearing later to address the siphoned funds.
Pedro Jimeno is demanding half of all the marital assets between them. Chantel Everett's lawyer Jarett R Sliz also declined to comment.
Viewers were expecting a split between the couple based on recent episodes showing the couple has disconnected and Chantel Everett asking Pedro Jimeno if he's cheating on her.
Viewers want the two to get back on good terms, as they don't accept the real world where two don't get to hear Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett using the affectionate pet names on the Tv screens: Pinky Winky (Chantel) and Pepe Wepe (Pedro).
Now, 90-Day Fiancé fans are waiting to hear about the court case soon, expecting some twist on the subject.
