The 1000-Lb Sisters fans know that Amy Slaton Halterman has long longed to be a mother for most of her life and is very happy to announce that she has just given birth to a baby. She is now a mother of two and can expect to spend most of her time caring for them. There is no doubt that she loves every moment, which is evident to everyone watching.
In November 2020, shortly after Amy's gastric bypass surgery, she gave birth to her first child, Michael's son, Gage, whom she could not carry for a long time. She decided to be a mom even though doctors warned her that it would be a high-risk pregnancy and that she should wait, even though being a mother was more important than respecting their advice.
Because Amy is pregnant, she has put her weight loss journey on hold to focus on becoming a first-time mother and preparing to give birth to her baby.
The TLC audience watched as she tried to keep her messy house clean and organized the household so that Gage could flourish in it.
Within a short time frame, Amy announced that she was again expecting, noting that there would be two young children under the age of two. The 1000-Lb Sisters TV show recently discovered that Amy and Michael Halterman welcomed their second son into the world, Glenn Allen Halterman.
Laurel and Gage Halterman welcomed their second child into the world on July 8, the couple noting that Gage Deon Halterman was very excited to take on the significant brother role.
As a way of marking two weeks since the birth of baby Glenn, Amy has shared new photos of him on social media. Glenn loved his car seat and was snuggled up in it when his fellow followers noticed that he was fast asleep. After revealing that her baby is two weeks old, Amy said time flies when you're fulfilled by your dreams, as she put it.
Amy tells me that when her little brother Gage is sleeping, he loves to check on him and keep a watchful eye on him, which makes his big brother Gage want to get good sleep. In the second photo, Amy swaddled her newborn and kissed the back of her head as he took a nap and slept on her chest.
In the last picture, Glenn again gazed into dreamland as he slept happily. There was a lot of excitement among 1000-Lb Sisters fans to see the newest member of the Slaton family, and we hope Amy doesn't get overwhelmed by the attention she receives.
Amy or no, Amy, Tammy Slaton's TLC cameras have already begun rolling, and there'll be a season. The 1000-pound Sisters star will have an uphill battle with two boys under two, but her fans remain confident that Amy will be able to cope.
Since she recently stated she wouldn't want to miss any time with her children, she has yet to confirm if she will return to the show.
