When two people stay in a relationship for too long, it can hurt both of them. We've all had to break up with a friend or partner, and hindsight is always 20/20. When you stay in a bad relationship for too long, you start to wonder why you stayed with that person for so long. You don't see all the signs until after it's already happened.

Even when we don't want to hurt someone, keeping the relationship going gives us more time for drama. When you see the signs, the sooner you end it, the more likely it is that it will end on a good note. Here are three clear signs, in my opinion, of what a relationship should end.

They start disrespecting you and your thoughts 

Is your soul meant to be with a certain person? Most likely not. If that were true, if one person makes a mistake and picks the wrong person, everyone else's choice is also wrong.

When you call someone your "twin flame," which means they are the right person for you, you immediately put them on a high level.

The people we look up to the most are the hardest to reach. To get their attention, you must go out of your way. It's exhausting, and even if you can get their attention, there's still a disconnect. You have put them on a higher level than you, so they have no choice but to look down on you and treat you badly. The worst thing you can do for your soul consciousness is to get involved with someone who is involved with another soul.

Why connect your soul to other soul streams? No matter how good it looks, don't fall for it. Why make bad things happen to you? If you break into someone else's house, someone will break into yours. The law says so! "You get back what you put in. Everything comes back around. To every action..." I think you get the idea. You might think they love you because you cheated on their partner, but you'd be wrong. They don't care about either you or their partner. When you stay in a relationship where you're not respected, you lose respect for yourself after a while. Every time you let someone treat you badly, you let yourself down. You'll start to think, "No, this isn't right," and you'll start planning how to let them go. And that would be your gut trying to tell you something. Listen to your instincts and stop thinking that the universe will bring them back. That's nuts! The world is not a crazy place. You won't meet someone who treats you badly, so stop wasting time on wishful thinking.

You clicked on this title for a reason. I am not telling you anything new. Your intuition has often told you that you need to let go of this person, but because you love them so much, you've tried and failed every time.

Nothing in this universe splits souls in half and sends them to different parts of the earth so they can find each other later. You can split a body in two, but if you try to split a soul in two, it will flow back together as one.

A soul is just a spiritual stream of consciousness, and streams do nothing but flow. In a way, those we call "twin flames" and "soul mates" are just different parts of our soul's consciousness that branch off to have different experiences. But it's plural. Streams. And unless you are God, there is nothing you can do to wake them up. It's not even enough to be spiritually aware. You have to get along well with them, and they have to do the same with you. If the person you call your twin flame won't see you and commit to you, no matter how perfect they are, they are not aligned with you.

Most of us think that our twin flames are perfect. Everything they do is perfect, and you want to show them that you can also be perfect for them. If you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, don't blindly trust that the universe will bring them back to you. Instead, use wisdom and discernment to figure out what is best for you according to God.

God sends someone to you if he wants to bless you. If the devil wants to get your attention away from you, he sends someone else. You must figure out who sent you to each person in your life. God's best won't come to treat you badly. They won't make you wonder about who you are. They won't make you feel like anybody. They won't see you and will run away. When they see you, they will stay. You will be loved and accepted by them. They will kiss your flaws and love you for them. They will love you, even more, when things are going well for you. You won't have to be anyone but the person God made you to be. But remember this when you're confused about your twin flame: God didn't confuse you. When he sends someone, he won't mess you up. If you don't understand what's going on, that's the best sign that you must let go.

On the spiritual path, if you want to grow, expand, and change, and if you want to get the things that are really meant for you, you have to make room for them. To make room, you must be willing to let go of anything that doesn't work for you.
