Returning to LeBron James' high school years will help audiences connect this inspirational athlete with the kid he once was. Before he packed arenas to capacity, he was a young man with big dreams and a bigger heart. The trailer shows that James gives a short introduction to the movie's concept.

He tells us on screen that even though we think we know his story; we know there is still so much to learn about it. In high school, James will be seen making the most of his passion for the sport and spending time with his friends before he becomes a legend. He directed the film after helming several episodes for Black-ish and Grown-ish.

His son's relationship must be rebuilt.

With an emotional look at the basketball superstar's origin story, Robinson hopes Shooting Stars will become the biggest feature of his career. Aside from his NBA career, LeBron James played the lead human role in Space Jam: A New Legacy 2021. In his quest to rebuild his relationship with his son, Dom, his co-stars were mostly Looney-Tunes characters.

Despite his father's wishes, the young boy doesn't want to pursue a career in basketball. It becomes apparent, however, that Dom would be a great game developer. The film's main conflict arises from their disagreement since the basketball legend wishes Dom to follow in his footsteps.

Success was a major factor in his career.

As always, disaster is just around the corner when the Looney Tunes get involved. In this new look at LeBron James' youth, Caleb McLaughlin will play Lil Dru, one of the biggest names. A big part of his success over the past decade has come from playing the role of Lucas Sinclair in Stranger Things, one of the biggest television series of recent years.

Since the first episode premiered on Netflix, Sinclair has been part of Hawkins' main crew, taking part in all major adventures. His relationship with Max has been closely related to his arc over the last two seasons and how that bond has changed as they have grown up together. Along with Avery S. Wills Jr., and Khalil Everage, McLaughlin will be playing the young basketball legend alongside Marquis "Mookie" Cook.
