Hundreds of acts have graced the stage of America's Got Talent over the past 16 years, thanks to the numerous judges. With every new season, viewers wonder what they just watched as the judges watch new acts. Maddie Baez, already on season 17, wows the judges Tuesday with her version of Whitney Houston's Higher Love.

Talent shows feature singers from all genres of music. During the performance, Maddie Baez talked about her song choice. According to her, I love challenges, and it was also a song that touched me deeply. The fact that Baez is only 11 years old makes her so interesting.

Just her latest number of America's Got Talent, Baez stunned the judges by singing Amazing Grace. It's a song that worships God and brings a lot of love to everybody, and that's what everyone needs in the world." In addition to winning the Golden Buzzer, Howie Mandel was captivated by the act.

Talent and professionalism praise for Maddie Baez

The singer recalled using the song to cope after her father was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Even though he attended the auditions with her, he could not attend the performance. However, the singer dedicated the song to her father. The power of the song was re-infused into the song tonight, and that is what I think helped me tonight."

It is astounding how Howie Mandel was blown away by Maddie Baez's voice and age, praising her, saying, I can't figure out how anyone, let alone an 11-year-old girl, manages to stay composed while performing live and facing competition.

It's amazing and unbelievable that she's 11 years old and still delivers at that level at that young age. Something isn't great tonight since her dad isn't here and has always been her cheerleader.

Having her dad by her side is lovely

She wasn't the only judge to congratulate Maddie Baez. Heidi Klum also said she did great. And it's just such an adorable story. It is lovely that she was there to help her dad through this time when he was ill in the hospital. Her father must be so proud that she was there to help him get through this.

She expressed gratitude to fans and judges for their support. In front of the American Got Talent audience, with everyone on their feet and singing your name, knowing that you touched millions of people, it is difficult not to cry when you are in front of them. I think that's exactly what happened tonight.

Finalist Chapel Hart on 'America's Got Talent

Wednesday's results, Chapel Hart earned one of two finals spots for their sassy run. The second place went to Korean magician Yu Hojin, who upset Maggie Baez, the youngest competitor in the competition at 12, who had been selected shockingly. When Terry Crews called the contestants' names, they held hands as they awaited their names.

Howie Mandell awarded her the Golden Buzzer for her audition performance. But Hojin, the elegant illusionist, was selected second, with Baez coming in third.

Crews announced Chapel Hart to the group, and Simon Cowell closed his eyes tightly in anticipation. Treat Swindle, whose first cousins are Danica and Devlyn Kart, said. Honestly, this is so amazing. Thanks, ladies! Chapel Hart, you have won everyone over.

Original song performed by Chapel Hart

Country music queens Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn complimented them after their audition. A modern take on Parton's 1970 hit, You Can Have Him Jolene is an update on the song. In this modern version, however, the singer tells Jolene she can keep the cheating man. Nobody has time for infidelity.

Chapel Hart performed another original song as part of the semifinal show on Tuesday. The Girls Are Back in Town. They sang and danced, and Swindle even rapped a few verses. At the song's end, Danica, the lead singer, dropped the mic, referring to Tanya Tucker, the original bad girl of country music. Tucker watched America's Got Talent and made a video to show her love for Chapel Hart.
