Gabby didn't intend to give Logan a hometown date on The Bachelorette

Updated on August 17, 2022 17:01 PM by Emma Alice

Gabby Windey explains why she didn't intend to visit Logan Palmer's hometown anyway after testing positive for COVID-19 right before the hometown dates ended. He became more interested in Gabby after realizing his connection was stronger with her than with Rachel Recchia, a 26-year-old videographer from San Diego, California.

Logan was torn between the two women, being the only one to kiss both of them. As for the others, they made their choices with confidence. When Logan and Gabby made this change, their relationship appeared to grow, but his COVID-19 diagnosis forced him to leave The Bachelorette.

After expressing concern over his health, Gabby chose Jason Alabaster, Erich Schwer, and Johnny DePhillipo for their hometown dates. Gabby selected just three men for her hometown dates, rather than four, as did her co-star Rachel. Logan's departure did not influence her decision.

Her hometowns were her strongest connections

Despite Nate's success since the beginning of the season, they split heartbreakingly. Gabby said of him, I almost wanted to reserve the space for him, but I think it wouldn't have happened because of our circumstances. As she told another source during The Bachelorette Men Tell All taping, even if Logan stayed, she would not have visited his hometown with her.

Her strongest connections were with her hometowns, so she knew she could take just three people there. Despite not being ready to be a mother, Gabby says she would have chosen Nate Mitchell, a single dad to a 6-year-old daughter, for the fourth hometown date.

Continuation of the relationship

He explained to ET that it was terrible for him to have to leave due to his COVID-19 diagnosis. He explained that he had put a lot on the line just before I left. It never got to that point, and I hoped the effort would pay off in a way that allowed me to continue my relationship with Gabby.

Even though his breakup with Gabby was gutting initially, Logan said he can now accept it after time has passed. Then after two months, you realize that the individual has made progress and has found happiness. After two months, I've taken steps forward in my own life.

Gabby was eager to be brought by Logan

You always figure everything happens for a reason. Logan said he hopes to find someone similar to Gabby in the future, even though things didn't work out with him and Gabby. Even though Logan was eager to bring Gabby home to meet his family, it is understandable that she does not want to take that step.

By the season's end, she'll be engaged

As she knew what she wanted, Gabby was a strong lead for The Bachelorette, despite her doubts about Nate. She did not want to fill the fourth hometown date space to fill the show. It is safe to say that she will eventually get engaged at the end of the season if Erich, Jason, or Johnny accept her final rose.
