Tania's relationship with Syngin
Tania provided an update on her relationship with Syngin when the season 3 tell-all was being taped in September earlier in the show.
During the episode, Tania expressed, "There's not much between us. I would love to still be close friends. Syngin shared, 'I can't do that.' Like, 'That's too hard for me. I need more space.' And that hurt me some, because it's like, why can't it be easy, like you love me? We can't be together, and so we're just friends. Why can't it just be like that for you?"
Tania finds a close connection
Tania and Syngin talk about their relationship with another woman, whereas Syngin feels uncomfortable speaking to Tania about her ex since their split. She feels, "I would love to be like great friends because even if we didn't work out as a couple, there is still a connection there,"

Tania and Syngin's first meeting
Tania and Syngin first came into contact in 2017 while Tania was traveling to South Africa with a different man she met on a dating app. She ended up running with Syngin in a pub after having a bad time on her first date.
They clicked as soon as they met, and after Tania extended her vacation by four months, they began dating. The couple got engaged right away, and Tania left to start the K-1 visa procedure, which would have allowed Syngin to immigrate to the US as her fiancé lawfully.

Tania and Syngin separated
Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé featured the former couple, who chronicled the 90 days leading up to their July 2019 wedding. They differed over lifestyle choices and having kids; therefore, their marriage was short-lived due to their relationship's problems. In October 2021, Tania and Syngin announced their separation.
