Despite taking Derek's medication and kit into a taxi, the Good Morning Britain star forgot the medications and equipment. The 54-year-old is the longest-suffering patient of Covid in the United Kingdom. In March 2020, he was admitted to the hospital with the virus and ended up in a coma and suffering organ damage.Kate, who takes care of her husband in their house, tweeted last week: "@BC_Lostproperty help!! Have just got home from the hospital with Derek in a black cab.

"She added: "The driver recognizes me but may not know it's there. Please check & get in touch. Among those who replied: "I know the driver Kate, as he told me he had taken you and your husband to me this evening. I’m attempting to contact you right now." This morning, Kate returned to Twitter to announce that the situation had been resolved. In her message, she wrote, "It's been returned! Thanks to everyone who reached out - the message reached driver Robert who has returned it - phew! Thanks to everyone. #happysundayeveryone."
