John C. Reilly is an American actor, voice actor, musician, and producer whose net worth is $50 million. Reilly likes to stay out of the spotlight when she's not acting. John has been an actor for more than 30 years and has played memorable roles in several well-known movies.

Early Life

John Christopher Reilly was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 24, 1965. Reilly, the fifth of six children, was reared Roman Catholic in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood. He told Cinema Blend, "Like most Irish-Americans, I am quite proud of this aspect of my history." Reilly is named after his father, John Reilly, who added Christopher as a middle name to prevent his son from being a junior.

Reilly attended Chicago's all-male Catholic private school, Brother Rice High School. He was a troublemaker who frequently ended up in the principal's office. Once he began playing in plays, he realized he enjoyed it and had found his community, even though he had no intention of becoming an actor.

In 1978, Reilly earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from The Theatre School (then known as Goodman School of Drama) at DePaul University in Chicago.
