James “buster” Douglas is an Ex-American boxer who was known as the world's best heavyweight champion at the time. When he won over unbeaten Mike Tyson in 1990, Buster scored earth-shattering and was featured as the best boxer in the world. Due to records, he earned a net worth of $15 million.

In 1960, buster was born as 'James Douglas'. His father was also a trained boxer name William Dynamite Douglas. He was looked after in predominantly black lime of Ohio in Columbus. Buster was first familiarized with boxing through his father, who used to take charge of a gym at Blackburn Recreation Center. As a teenager's age, he went to the High School of Linden McKinley, where he played the game of basketball as well as football.

Buster became a leader in his school in 1977 as a Class AAA state Championship'. As soon as he graduated, he played a basketball match for Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens, located in Kansas of Coffeyville. Later on, buster played in Dayton, Ohio, for Sinclair Community College and then went to the Mercyhurst University of Pennsylvania, Erie, to gain a basketball scholarship.

Professional career

Buster started his career as a boxing debut in May 1981 by defeating Dan O'Malley in a 4-round bout. He earned a victory in his first 5 fighting, though; he missed his sixth by David Bey in a knockout. In October 1982, he went on to win six fights against Steffen Tangstad. Over the subsequent two years, he defeated the most journeyman fighters, Jesse Clark, with whom he knocked out a total of three times. 

In addition, he earned a major victory against a heavyweight competitor named Randall “Tex" Cobb, whom he beat by a majority of decisions. Afterwards, he defeated a former champ Greg Page which helped him earn a shot in the International Boxing Federation Championships. After beginning well, contrary to Tony Tucker, he failed his steam and put a stop in his tenth round.    

Personal life

Buster's personal life is kept a secret. As per the sources, he tied the knot with Bertha in 1986. Though, the marriage doesn't last long. It was ended in divorce within just four years far along. Both of them have three sons, namely Arthur, Cardale and Kevin. Another son named Lamar was from his born to his girlfriend in high school.

He maintains his own Instagram account through which he posts photos of his boxing career, events and the coaching program he attended. As of now, he dwells in a nondescript life beside a farming village which situated outside of Ohio in Columbus. He used to train young boxers in his local recreational centre as his father did in his time.
