Some like it straight, while some like it mixed; the world of alcoholic drinks is fascinating and filled with experiments. Some of these drinks created by mixologists are rare and unique and come with a hefty price tag.

In this article, we have compiled a list of the extremely expensive alcohol in the world. The prices cited in the article may fluctuate from region to region.

Isabella Islay Whisky

The world's most expensive bottle of whisky from the Luxury Beverage Company in the U.K. They are liable for Isabella Islay Whisky, a single malt Scotch whisky aged over 30 years. It is not the whisky that makes this drink so costly.

Isabella Islay Whisky comes in a glamorous bottle with a white gold label. It contains 8,5000 diamonds and 300 rubies. If that is not enough, this luxurious whisky comes in a solid oak box with 18-carat gold designs and a silver plaque. The bottle is trading for a tidy $6.2 million.

The Billionaire Vodka

It was obvious that a brand might take the number one spot with "billionaire" in the name, right?

Well, Billionaire Vodka ($3.7 Million) did exactly that. With a brand motto of "It is good to become the king," Billionaire Vodka produces alcoholic drinks entirely by hand and on demand. Each bottle uses a top-secret Russian flavour and is made in small micro-batches to ensure exclusivity.

The big five-litre bottle is covered in approximately 3,000 diamonds and Swarovski crystals, designed by Leon Verre. Billionaire Vodka is the top most expensive alcoholic drink in the world!

Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne

Is this Cognac that costs a massive $2 Million? The Cognac has been aged over 100 years, and the bottle is covered with 24-karat gold, housed platinum casing, and diamonds.

It looks like something different that would be given to a medieval King after the battle, as a token of surrender or just the spoils of war.

D’Amalfi Limoncello Supreme

Limoncello is an after-dinner favourite drink enjoyed by Italians. It is a digestive meant to help settle your tummy after a big meal. D'Amalfi is famous for their limoncello, so much so that they decided to commission a special bottle for an unnamed Italian lady.

While the liquor inside the bottle is the same limoncello most people get to experience, the bottle itself makes this the most costly alcohol ever produced. The exclusively designed bottle sports three single-cut flawless diamonds on the neck totalling 13 carats.

There is also a super rare 18.5-carat diamond on the front of the bottle. They created two bottles of this liqueur, one for the lady and another for some lucky person to buy. That could be you if you have a spare $43.6 million.

Diva Vodka

If you are looking for something different and don't care about the taste or the money, then Diva Vodka ($1 Million) is for you.

This is one type of Vodka in the world to be filtered through gemstones after being filtered the traditional way. After that, it's poured into a bottle with a load of Swarovski crystals in a glass tube running down the centre of the bottle.

Tequila Ley .925

They claim more than 6,000 different diamonds on the bottle help improve the tequila's flavour, which is why it's so expensive to buy.

However, it remains unsold, so it might sell for a lot less in the future; we'll have to wait and see. However, it remains the second most expensive alcoholic drink in the world!

Macallan 64 Year Old In Lalique

Macallan Record Break, so it's no surprise that it has a price tag.

Macallan is most famous for producing high-quality single-malt whiskey, so when they decided to embark on this challenge, it is not surprising that they went all in.

Only four bottles were ever designed and combined with the bottle's craftsmanship, the whiskey itself makes this drink so darn expensive.

Each liquor bottle is made from pure, hand-cut crystal and weighs 25 pounds without liquor.

Russo-Baltique Vodka

Russo-Baltique Vodka is the next costly alcoholic drink on the list. Costing a whopping $1.35 million for a bottle, you'll need to love your Vodka to buy a bottle of this stuff.

The bottles look like vintage automobiles, and each bottle top is made from 100% pure gold with inlaid diamonds.

Don't worry, though, unless you are a Russian billionaire or oligarch, you won't be targeted with any crazy marketing campaigns or followed around the internet with ads. It's aimed solely at the target as mentioned above market, as they're about the only ones that can afford it!

The Macallan Fine & Rare

The Macallan single malt Scotch Whisky is one of the most famous whiskies on the planet. Distilled at the brand's manufacturing plant in Scotland in 1824, The Macallan is most loved by whiskey connoisseurs.

The Fine & Rare series is a range of whisky distilled aimed between 1926 and 1991 at collectors. One bottle's price tag at $2 million.

The 1926 60-year-old vintage is the oldest bottle of whisky to sell at auction. It's often called the 'Holy Grail' of whisky, with only 40 bottles ever produced. The Macallan is why it went for so much at auction. So while it might not come in a fancy bottle, it tastes like nothing else on this list.

Dalmore 62

This one is a bit of a mystery, as no one knows where it gets its name from or the process that made the single-malt so expensive.
