'We Couldn't Do Our Wink-Wink to the Audience' - A Days of Our Lives recast surprise that wasn't meant to be

Seeing Abigail Klein reveal herself to be Steve and Kayla's daughter in Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, Chapter 2, is sure to be an exciting moment. However, Stephanie's debut was expected to be a momentous one. Ron Carlivati, head writer of Soap Opera Digest, explains that they were trying to decide the best way to introduce her.
