Today's preempt is The Bold & The Beautiful

Unfortunately, as the hearings into the attack on the Capitol Building continue, so does the news coverage of the event and, as a result, regular daytime programming is interrupted by the ensuing controversies. On July 12, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL will be postponed due to the latest hearing preempted by the latest hearing. Thank goodness, this is a national preemption as opposed to the recent preemptions for the hearings, which means that Tuesday's episode of B&B is not going to air on Tuesday, but on Wednesday instead. Because the show didn't air on CBS.com or Paramount+ this evening, there is no point in looking for it on these platforms since it won't be available since it didn't air.

Soap fans will inevitably experience interruptions and preemptions for news occasionally, but it still doesn't make it any easier when it happens. However, at least those who live in the areas where B&B wasn't broadcasting will not have to worry about spending hours searching on the Internet for the episodes to stay up to date on the drama by watching them when they air. Don't worry if you happen to receive a B&B blast from the past if the show airs in your particular time zone, as long as they do not air in your time zone. Whether it be for reasons of scheduling or to fill the time slot, CBS always airs an encore episode.
