Ancient villains of Spider-Man are returning in Spider-Boy. "The Mother of Invention" from the Amazing Spider-Man number 31 is now on sale from Marvel Comics. 

Welcoming The Mother of Invention

The ancient villainous legacy is now back. The Amazing Spider-Man introduces Mother Monstrosity to the readers. This villain is supported by Humanimal hybrids on which she also conducts her experiments. "The Mother of Invention" is written by Dan Slott along with artist Paco Medina and colorist Erick Arciniega.

Shannon Stillwell and The Family’s Legacy

When Mother Monstrosity gets to know about the emergence she quickly calls for her daughter, Dr Shannon Stillwell. Shannon has no answer to Mother Monstrosity's questions. But she confirms the legacy of the Stillwell family. They have successfully run the business for the last sixty years, creating Spider-Man's rivals.

Farley Stillwell and His Scorpion 

Shannon's brother, Farley, was the first member of their family to create a villain. He was introduced in the amazing Spider of 1964 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. 

Being a remarkable scientist, Farley was reached by J. Jonah Jameson. He was asked to convert Mac Gargan into a Super Villain called the Scorpion. Farley gained success in his work. But, as he went on to reverse the procedure Gargan underwent, the scientist ended up dying.

Harlan and Deacon 

The second member of the Stillwell family was Harlan. He was introduced in Marvel Comics in 1976, a decade after his brother. You can find him in 1976's Amazing Spider-Man Annual by Bill Mantlo and Gil Kane. Jameson contracted Harlan for the creation of a weapon. This weapon aimed to end Spider-Man. It was Richard Deacon. Who was the criminal who compelled Harlan to transform him into the Human Fly? Sadly, Deacon killed Harlan for his troubles.

Shannon Stillwell In The Cellar

The most recent addition to the League of Villains is Shannon. She is also a part of the Stillwell family and was welcomed in "The Cellar" by writers Dan Slott and Christos N. Gage and artist Paco Diaz. This edition of The Amazing Spider-Man came out in 2015. 

Shannon worked for the company Empire Unlimited under Augustus Roman, also known as Regent. She grabbed many super-powered individuals to extract their powers for her boss. All of it was put to an end when Miles Morales defeated Shannon, and Regent lost to Iron Man and Mary Jane Watson.
