'Sister Wives'season 17 to only focus on Christine and Kody Brown’s mess

A premiere date for the famous TLC show ‘Sister Wives’ has been released. This will mark the 17th season of the long run and fully enjoyed show. The show lovers will only have to wait until September 11 to see the Brown family again.

A small teaser was also revealed along with the date according to which the entire season will be focused on only one thing.

Marriage in Shambles

The Season 16 of the famous show left off with Christine Brown packing all her husband Kody Brown’s belongings. She had then placed them in the basement without his knowledge. He was dumbfounded when he later came and found out all his stuff was labeled and removed from the actual home she lived in.

Gone

This incident made fans quite sure about what was coming up next for their marriage. Many fans guessed that their 20-plus years of marriage is likely to end soon.

And this guess and fear of fans actually came to true sense when Christine took to her Instagram to share with her fans that she was leaving after which her husband posted a statement.

False hope

Christine had moved back to Utah when the family had decided to leave Las Vegas, and it was the place that she truly desired to go to when they left Las Vegas.

Kody on the other hand gave her some false hope that the move could be a possibility but it was never really kept as an option.

Problems, problems, and problems

The couple was seemingly facing problems for a very long time, not just in front of the camera but also behind the scenes as well. Kody never really heard his wife and their relationship started drifting more apart when the pandemic started hitting.

Strict Protocols

Kody was not like the husband materials that are portrayed on most shows. He was in fact the complete opposite.

He had very strict protocols that each wife and children were to follow but unfortunately, Christine had children in other states as well whom she knew she could not be apart from for a long period of time.

Irresponsible

Kody felt Christine was irresponsible for traveling and living her life, so he would rarely visit her at the end he took intimacy away from their marriage which brought in a breaking point for Christine, and by the end of Season 16, she deemed him a divorce.

The tension

Season 16 ended with nothing to show in the upcoming seasons but turns out that there is more to the drama than what was shown. From the teaser that was released for Season 17, it seems that it will still revolve around Kody and Christine.

The teaser has teased

Based on the teaser which was released, the prime focus of “Sister Wives” will be on the demise of Christine and Kody’s marriage.

The series had first started off with three rings on the log to represent each wife and later when Robyn had joined, another ring was added. Now, at the end of the ten-second preview, a ring drops off, teasing the fans.

The ring’s gone

Some fans speculate that the dropping of the ring signifies the end of a marriage and no other marriage has officially ended apart from Christine as she had left in the last season itself.

But there are also rumors swirling around that Meri and Janelle might also be the ones who will be making their exits, which can only be found out when the season airs.

Pick up

Though fans know for a fact that Christine has gone back to Utah and is enjoying her life with her kids and granddaughter, Avalon, fans wonder how Season 17 of the show will work out.

Some are speculating that the season will pick up from where the previous one ended. Additionally, some say that Christine’s choice to leave Flagstaff for Utah will also be played out.

Mountain of questions

The show is mostly going to focus on Christine leaving the family, Kody losing his wife, and possibly the press reactions that could be shown.

But despite all the speculations, there are a lot of questions in the fans' minds like how will the family feel about her closeness to Janelle still.

All this could only be answered when the show airs for Season 17 on September 11.
