Shania was legally deaf at age ten and completely deaf around the time of her graduation from high school. She made the stage solo to perform her newest single, 'Life's About to Get Good.'

Twain developed problems with her vocal cords, and she lost her voice. She was forced to take a break from performing and 15 years away from music. Yes, she stopped singing as her health deteriorated.

Lyme disease to Shania!

Shania told interviewers that she had Lyme disease in 2003. This disease damages the nerves in her vocal cords. It is a tick-borne illness that caused her to lose voice temporarily.

The first trailer for the Netflix documentary Not Just a Girl was dropped on Wednesday. It features music, video clips, concerts, archival footage, and some interviews about her music career.
