She is a Canadian singer and songwriter; she sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and the best-selling music artist of all time.

Is she deaf?

Shania was legally deaf at age ten and completely deaf around the time of her graduation from high school. She made the stage solo to perform her newest single, 'Life's About to Get Good.'

Twain developed problems with her vocal cords, and she lost her voice. She was forced to take a break from performing and 15 years away from music. Yes, she stopped singing as her health deteriorated.

Shania told interviewers that she had Lyme disease in 2003. This disease damages the nerves in her vocal cords. It is a tick-borne illness that caused her to lose voice temporarily.
