Season 5 set photos tease Milo Ventimiglia's mysterious Handsome Man character from season 4. A preview of Milo Ventimiglia's return to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5 has been released. According to new set photos shared by The Daily Mail, Ventimiglia will return for season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. As he holds tightly to his briefcase, Ventimiglia looks brooding, clean-shaven, and debonair in a long coat and formal attire. Ventimiglia's mystery man is also seen with Brosnahan's Midge, wearing a red blouse, ornamented swing dress, neck scarf, beret, and heels. These set photos confirm that Midge and Ventimiglia's Handsome Man will cross paths again after their awkward fallout in season 4. In addition, Midge seems to be smiling while meeting Ventimiglia's character, indicating that the encounter won't exactly be a confrontation, but may involve flirtation and romance, possibly with dire consequences.

Although it's not clear why Midge would choose to meet The Handsome Man again after his betrayal, Ventimiglia's character is expected to have a bigger role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5, which is also expected to feature even more Gilmore Girls actors.
