Lindsey Georgoulis shares her 'Strong First Impressions' of new couples on Married at First Sight

A Boston episode of Married at First Sight's 14th season aired earlier this year featuring Lindsey Georgoulis. She was married to Mark Maher at the time, but the couple has since separated. The 15th season of Married at First Sight premiered on Lifetime on Wednesday, following five San Diego-based couples as their newlywed lives begin. This is Georgoulis' recap of Wednesday's premiere episode and her predictions for this season. Looking forward to seeing this season's couples for the first time. When I watch these hopefuls prepare for the journey of a lifetime, I'm taking a trip down memory lane as someone who has been on Married At First Sight.
Reading body language is one of my favorite ways to look past what people say. What is the appearance of their homes? How do their friends represent the same message this person is trying to convey? Do they behave differently around friends and family? In interviews, do they present themselves differently? Are they genuinely looking for a romantic connection, or are they too conscious of the camera? My favorite way to discover who someone is is by how they interact when everyone is watching versus when they are alone. This always gives me a clear idea of who's in it for the right reasons and who might not be ready for marriage. These couples stand out to me based on my first impressions, so let's find out what they're like!

I recognize myself in Alexis. She is comfortable being in charge and direct, and she has a group of strong male friends. At the moment, Justin is my favorite. In addition to being grounded, down-to-earth, funny, and a good husband, he is also a great father. His ride-or-die is Alexis. Alexis has a strong circle of men around her, so I hope Justin doesn't end up in her friend zone. Together, they would be a wonderful complement. Justin wants to be loved for who he is on the inside. It tells me he'll be able to handle Alexis' strong side since he provides and works with his ex. Ultimately, I think he's good husband material, so I hope his wife has patience with him while he processes his decisions.
Justin probably needs a straightforward woman in his life, and Alexis is exactly that. There is something sweet, passionate, caring, and lovable about Lindy, but she is also unsure of herself. I hope that she recognizes her gifts without needing someone to point them out to her. A person who can reassure Lindy, give her encouragement, and provide her with feedback is what she needs. My only concern is that she may be self-sabotaging and dependent on external feedback. Lindy needs to find a way to channel her inner confidence.Add Block
It's wonderful to see this match between Miguel and the self-proclaimed romantic dork. I think they can make it work if he can compliment her without becoming too dependent on her. There's nothing I love more than a goofy creative, so I hope Lindy is ready to put on her elf ears and head to Comic-Con. Miguel and Lindy will feel comfortable expressing their needs and quirky sides to each other. I'm a perfect match! Morgan will need to learn to be flexible and understanding of Binh's frugality and desire for partnership. As an alternative, Binh will have to learn how to relax and have fun. He will be inspired to try things outside of his comfort zone by Morgan's fearlessness and fun side.Add Block
I think Binh will slowly open up and explore new things and opportunities if Morgan is patient and accepting of her. Trust is going to be required for him to see it's worth the calculated risk. The success of this partnership depends on both parties. It will be interesting to see if they can defer the lead to each other and work together as partners in the future. I'm sorry, but this is not for me. There's no way this couple will make it to one month. There is no way that this pairing can work. I believe that they will be the first couple to consummate and have sexual chemistry. Since they are both strong, outspoken, and driven, I believe they were matched with the vision of a "power couple".
She is cute, opinionated, hardworking, and high maintenance. In addition to being opinionated and high maintenance, Nate doesn't seem respectable or kind to me. The way he spoke to the stripper was so degrading, and he seemed so calculated in saying the right thing. His cocky attitude will not fly with a woman like Stacia, and I can see her being turned off by it. The two of them aren't at a point in their lives where they are willing to put others first, and that's going to result in a power struggle in which no one wins, and no one is right. This one is going down in flames if you ask me. Another no from me. In contrast, Mitch does not seem to be a people person, while Krysten is a girl's girl. Mitch isn't concerned about appearances and relationships like Krysten are.
Mitch's tone and opinions will offend Krysten, and they will never be on the same page when it comes to communication. Mitch wants a strong woman, but I'm not sure he's up to the task. In addition, he always talks about being inflexible, which makes me think he will always put himself first. Please don't talk with food in your mouth, Mitch. I found it too much, and most likely Krysten will as well. When considering your partner's preferences, a little goes a long way. Krysten is an organizer, a planner, and a giver, so being with a taker won't work. This is not the recipe for friendship or marriage, but I hope Mitch and Krysten end up finding the right person through this process
