Karloff unites two icons with his Gold Key Mysteries

Through the 1960s, Gold Key was a major force in comic book culture. As well as producing licensed tie-in titles, Gold Key published Star Trek comics for the first time.

It will likely succeed with Boris Karloff bringing the legendary company back to life. Karloff established his reputation for being a master of horror with his work as Frankenstein's Monster in Universal Pictures' 1931 Frankenstein. One of Gold Key's signature titles was Thriller, 's comic series that ran until the 1980s, based on Karloff's anthology show, Thriller.
