This 30-year-old country singer needs no introduction and has made waves in her country music career. She is best known for hits such as Heart Like A Truck, Never Say Never, and Wait In The Truck, among others. There is a strong chance that Lainey Wilson will have a huge night at the CMT Awards 2023. She leads the pack with the greatest number of nominations, with four nominations across four categories.

She recently landed a part in Yellowstone so you may recognize her face. Lainey plays a singer named Abby in Yellowstone, a film about a musician who falls in love with Ryan, a ranch hand who works for John Dutton, a character played by Kevin Costner. She will appear in season five of Yellowstone.

Lainey has won several awards, including the Academy Country Music Award. She won the prestigious Academy Country Music Award in 2021 for "Things A Man Oughta Know." In addition, her album "Things A Man Oughta Know" was nominated for Breakthrough Video of the Year on CMT Music. 

During 2023, she was nominated four times for the CMT Awards, including Video of the Year. She won four CMT Awards in 2023, including Video of the Year ("Heart Like A Truck"), Collaborative Video of the Year ("wait in the truck,' with HARDY), CMT Performance of the Year ("Never Say Never," with Cole Swindell), and "Never Say Never," with Cole Swindell.

During her teenage years, Lainey started writing songs with the help of her dad, a farmer in their family. She took her dad to the 56th CMA Awards in 2022. Her dad helped her learn a few chords, and she started compiling her songs by age 14.
