Delaney Renee quits American Idol after Hollywood Week following viral Massachusetts TikTok campaign

After going viral on TikTok, Delaney Renee from Massachusetts went to Hollywood to compete in "American Idol." But his journey into the show came to an end on Monday."Thank you so much for love from my family, new and old friends, @nickimarieinc, and all of you," Renee wrote on Instagram. Although his Hollywood weekly show was not aired on Monday, the presentation noted that he did not make it to the next round. Renee took her acting to Instagram.

She admits to being fired, but she says, "beyond this experience and all the opportunities it has given me."The video was posted on TikTok while Renee was singing and went viral. It was filmed by Nicki Maher, the woman who hired him.

Million views on TikTok  

“After about an hour it got a million views. And then, in the end, I think it went up to 16 million, and other sites started getting millions of views with the video, ”Renee laughed. His "American Idol" journey is over this season, but he continues to post on social media for his fans, calling them "ladybugs."
