The thing about Kanye West is that you never know if he's going to show up... it's a gamble, but maybe he'll show up. The artist currently known as Ye said, "Snake eyes," when Rolling Loud Miami rolled the dice."We regret to inform you that Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022 because of circumstances beyond our control," the festival's account tweeted Sunday.

Kid Cudi will replace the legendary rapper at the event. Several artists including 2 Chainz, Saweetie, Lil Yachty, Playboy Carti, and Three 6 Mafia were scheduled to perform at the July 22 show, headlined by Ye. Having pulled out of a show for the first time, Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler wished West "the best."Ye had been on our radar as the headliner of Rolling Loud Miami 2022.

We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided not to perform," the statement concluded. It's the first time a headliner has pulled out of our show, and we wish him well. We're excited to welcome Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami next month. Rolling Loud may have never done this before, but Ye is the right man for this job. He was replaced by The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia with less than two weeks to go before Coachella.

A few days earlier, the Grammys canceled his performance due to his "online behavior."After his latest album, Donda was pushed back, West decided not to perform at last year's Rolling Loud Miami. Nevertheless, Rolling Loud will always remember West's surprise show at San Bernardino's Nos Events Center last December.
