For a role that breaks an actor's career, the right choice can determine the show's success. Actors audited for all kinds of roles which were most interesting in changing the final outline of the show. Here is the list of directors doing their best to find the best version of the character.

Iwan Rheon as Jon Snow!

Iwan Rheon, an actor, auditioned for the part of Jon Snow on Game of Thrones. He is known for his role as Simon in the Misfits UK series. He did a fantastic job. Jon Snow would have been different if he had gotten to play him and made a good choice. Rheon has a knack for portraying characters that are out of the ordinary.

Taylor Momsen as Hannah Montana!

Hannah Montana is an iconic character that brought life to Miley Cyrus. She was one of the three final choices as the casting director, including Taylor Momsen. Her first roles were the sweet Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, which became one of the most hated supporting characters. Cyrus did only a job with the character; the rest was history.

Nathan Fillion as Angel!

Nathan Fillion auditioned for Angel, who almost went to somebody else initially. Joss Whedon felt bad as he did not remember his audition. Fillion got his part after a while when he was cast as the First Evil. Fillion did an amazing job before moving on to less villainous roles like Richard Castle and John Nolan on The Rookie.

Dawson's Creek alumna Katie Holmes was revealed as part of Buffy. Holmes was cast as Joey as she turned the role down. The interesting cast has changed the show altogether. Buffy and Gellar's ultimately ended up right where they needed to be.
