Russell Crowe appears in public with his fiancée for the first time in 31 years

Russell Crowe tries to keep his personal life quiet, but it's evident that his relationship with Britney Theriot is growing stronger by the day.

The couple made a rare public appearance together at the Australian Open this weekend, as they took their seats to witness the Women's Singles final.

Russell, 57, and Britney, 31, sat courtside in excellent spirits, at times entirely engrossed in the action on the court.

Russell, the Gladiator star, was originally linked to Britney in November 2020; they are believed to have met on the set of his film, Broken City. They have been photographed together on several occasions, despite the fact that they have not publicly declared their relationship.

Russell and Britney's relationship began when his marriage to Danielle Spencer ended. The former couple was married from April 2003 until their divorce was finalised in April 2018. In October of 2012, they announced their split. Charles, 18, and Tennyson, 15, are their two sons together.

Russell made unusual comments about his sons in an interview with Australia's Sunrise in July 2020. He joked that Charles and Tennyson had chosen to quarantine with their mother because food delivery services would be able to reach her residence.

"When I asked the lads, they indicated Uber Eats would be preferable to my paternal care. That didn't impress me too much "He made a joke. "My boys live with their mother and are quite content there."

Russell and Danielle are still on good terms, and she gave him a public message on his birthday in April, only eight days after his loving father, John, died.

Danielle posted a flashback family photo of the former couple with their sons, along with the caption: "The Crowe family has had a difficult and sad week. Russell, I'm wishing you happiness on your birthday today."
