The disappearance of Princess Charlene's Instagram account added fuel to the fire, and the reason for her account deactivation has not been made public. In 2011 Princess Charlene married Prince Albert ruler of Monaco, there were rumors that she had tried to flee the small principality on several occasions when she came to know that her husband fathered at least three secret children out of wedlock. Due to an ear infection, Charlene was not seen in Monaco Between January 2021 and March 2022, the infection stopped her flying from South Africa back to the principality. Despite the relentless media speculation, Albert has always steadfastly denied any trouble in the royal marriage, earlier he said the absences were due to some health issues.

Albert told People magazine, ‘She was overwhelmed and couldn't face official duties, life in general or even family life. I sat her down with her brothers and a sister-in-law. She had already made her decision, and we only wanted her to confirm it in front of us. She wanted this. She already knew the best thing to do was to go and have a rest and have a real medically framed treatment. And not in Monaco. For privacy reasons, it would have to be someplace outside of Monaco.’
