Nick Cannon reveals that he would never judge anyone for the number of kids they have while talking about monogamy

The Monogamy Talks 

Nick Cannon has recently been talking a lot more about Monogamy, gender, etc and in a recent interview with R&B duo DVSN he commented upon it. Nick Cannon and with DVSN sat down with dating site Ashley Madison’s sex therapist and author of Open Monogamy, Dr Tammy Nelson and discussed the concept of “open monogamy” for a livestream on Youtube. 

While talking about candidly on the subject, when he was asked whether he would be open to being in a relationship with a woman who has the same number of kids or baby fathers as he does or wants, Nick Cannon put out his answer very thoughtfully. 

His choice 

Nick Cannon mentioned in his answer statement that his lifestyle only merits him to respect everyone and he also added that one never chooses whom he loves or one's emotions take them. He also mentioned that he has been involved with women who have 4,5,6 children in a household at the same time. 

He also revealed that those kinds of friendships or relationships he has had are the most passionate ones and he will never judge someone based on the amount of children they have had, especially when they are a great parent.

According to the recently published data by Ashley Madison, non-monogamy romantic relationships that are not constricted to one single partner and feature multiple partners is increasing more and more as it is being accepted by the society, more among the younger generation. 

A dating site in its recently published statistics revealed that nearly a quarter of Americans believe that the society would benefit from a shift towards non-monogamy and most of them who stand firm on this belief include Gen-z and Millennials. 


Not the first time 

This is not the first time Nick Cannon who is popular for his roke as a host in the TV show America’s Got Talent has spoken about monogamy. Talking about monogamy in the past, Cannon has revealed that he does not feel healthy about monogamy as it gets into the space of selfishness and ownership. 

Earlier in an interview, the America’s Got Talent host opened up about the possibility of setting down and revealed that he is a hopeless romantic at the end of the day and he loves the concept of marriage and the ceremony that comes along with it. 

Failed 

He also added that he has failed at monogamy and relationships but he feels he will settle at one point as he is still not done with it and God will help him out with it. Cannon married Mariah Carey in 2008 but the relationship lasted only up till 2016. Together the couple share 11 year old twins Monroe and Moroccan.


Cannon has moved on as past is past and has welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. He also had a son Zen who died on December 5 after being diagnosed with brain cancer. He is also a dad to a 5 year old Golden Sagon and 18 month old Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell and is also expecting a baby boy now with model Bre Tiesi.
