The heinous remarks DaBaby made about HIV patients cost him maximum exposure, but according to one of his Billion Dollar Baby artists, DaBaby still managed to make off with a pretty penny as a result of his remarks.

As Stunna 4 Vegas revealed -- at least according to him -- DaBaby got $350,000 last year for appearing on DL's "Levitating.

As part of Stunna's VladTV interview, he endorsed DaBaby's character and said he was in good standing with fans and sponsors. As a result of DaBaby's cancellation, Cashman says the company's cash flow and its car sales continued. As the saying goes, there's no such thing as "bad" publicity, at least according to Stunna's statistics.

When that controversy erupted, he had just dropped a Lil Wayne collab that put him back at the top of the Billboard chart. In addition to reaching No. 2, the song went 4x platinum. His credit was eventually snatched from the Billboard charts after Rolling Loud's backlash swept the internet in July 2021.

As soon as Dua heard DB's words, she immediately ripped into him claiming she was "surprised and horrified" and distanced herself from the situation. The controversy surrounding the song wasn't over yet. Reggae band accused DL of levitating the best parts of the track for her use in a copyright lawsuit filed this past March.
