Jonny Hughes and Rebecca Ferguson got married

Rebecca Ferguson, a British singer, wed Jonny Hughes.

The 36-year-old, who first gained notoriety in 2010 as a participant on The X Factor, married the sports agent on November 12 at London's Dorchester hotel.

Rebecca described the significance of the location to her as she revealed the "fairytale" nuptials in an exclusive interview with HELLO! magazine on Sunday.

She said, "Back when I first started out, I'd take the Megabus from Liverpool to London." "It was dirt cheap. We once passed Park Lane while driving.

It served as motivation for me because I would imagine staying at The Dorchester in the future. Getting married was a fulfillment of a lifelong desire for me.

Family members, including Rebecca's daughters Lillie, 18, Karl, 16, and 8-year-old Arabella, were present to support her and Jonny, who have been dating for five years.

This year on January 1st, the pair made their engagement public.

The celebrity, who has been outspoken against abuses in the music industry and reality TV, added that the wedding signified that she had left the "terrible stuff" behind her and found "peace and happiness."

Rebecca will release one more album before leaving the music business in 2023, at which point she will "dedicate (her) time and energy into aiding and fostering emerging musicians and campaigning for better treatment."
