Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was born on 1 August 1924.

He was a Saudi Arabian politician and military commander.

He was the King of Saudi Arabia from 1 August 2005 till his death in 2015.

He was the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 13 June 1982.

He was the tenth son of King Abdulaziz, the founder of Saudi Arabia.

Her mother was Fahda bint Asi Al Shuraim. She was a member of the Al Rashid dynasty.

He became the mayor of Mecca in the year 1961.

He was also the commander of the Saudi Arabian National Guard.

He had also served as the deputy defense minister.

It is said that he usually married women with tribal backgrounds.

He had 36 children in total and that too with around 30 wives.

In 1995, King Fahd suffered from a major stroke. After which, Abdullah became the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia and a decade later, he ascended the throne.

He passed away at the age of 90 on 23 January 2015.
