A New GrandChild Is On Its Way To Rep. Lauren Boebert, 36,

Representative Lauren Boebert announced that she will be a grandmother at 36 and praised "rural conservative communities" for "valuing life." According to the Colorado Republican, Tyler's girlfriend will give birth next month to their child. For the first time, Boebert told the crowd at a Conservative Political Action Conference event this week that she would be a Gigi to her first grandson in April. 

In her comments, the lawmaker expressed her excitement at welcoming this new life into her family. Those of you who have young children or are giving birth may have questions. As Boebert was honoured on Tuesday with the "Mothers Influence Award" by Moms for America for taking "a tremendous stance in empowering moms, promoting liberty, and raising patriots," she said, "There's some fear that arises."

Teenager becomes pregnant

Laughs broke out from the crowd when Boebert, a far-right conservative who believes abortion should be illegal, said, "nice try, buddy." When she became pregnant as a teenager, Boebert began taking care of her child and later dropped out of high school. She graduated with a GED in 2020. 

In addition to what she fears, Boebert is more concerned about whether her son and his significant other will commit suicide. As she spoke about teen pregnancy rates, she applauded them for making the sacrifice and being selfless. As far as teen pregnancy rates are concerned, rural and urban areas are about the same. If you look at the rates of teen pregnancy across the country, they're the same.

Urban teenagers gave birth to children

Because we realize the preciousness of the life that is about to be born, abortion rates and teen mom rates are higher in urban areas, and teen mothers are higher in rural, conservative areas," Boebert noted. Female teenagers in urban areas gave birth to 18.9 babies for every 1,000 in 2015, whereas teenagers in counties with fewer than 50,000 gave birth to 30.9.

In rural areas, teen birth rates have only dropped about a third since 2007, but they have dropped nearly half since 2007. Her son and his girlfriend are "working together" with Boebert and her husband "to ensure they are amazing parents, with the right support and love." The Boebert family is growing by a wonderful little boy," she announced.
