This is the place where people were executed, murdered, tortured and thrown off the bridge for over more than a thousand years. Many British people believe that the spirit of these victims who face this horrendous crime still roams about that bridge, specifically Anne Boleyn who is a ghost spotted carrying her head in her hands and has been spotted multiple times in the Tower Chapel Royal or on Tower Green. Hundreds of ghosts including Lady Jane Grey, Henry VI, Sir Walter Raleigh and Thomas Becket mourn the pain they had to go through.

It was one of the world’s first isolated prisons; many prisoners from Philadelphia were sent there. It is still famous for its harsh sanction punishments, a few of them include Water Bath, Mad Chair and Iron Gag. Due to isolation and extreme prison conditions many prisoners lost memory, their brains were severely damaged and that is why they had to be shifted to the psych facility for treatment. Many people have seen creepy ghostly figures with scary disproportionate faces and also heard haunted voices in different ancient languages that no one can translate. Even Al Capone was allegedly haunted by one of the many men he murdered,  James Clark’s spirit during his imprisonment there.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium was built in the early 1900s in Jefferson County in an attempt to manage the outbreak of tuberculosis. Even though many people who suffered from the disease couldn't survive, the staff tried to hide the death toll from the patients who were alive using a channel underground called the ‘death tunnel’ where they stacked the death bodies. It is one of the most haunted hospitals in America. Many legends say Room 502 is haunted because a nurse committed suicide with a light bulb wire there.

The Myrtles Plantation, St. Francisville, Louisiana, USA:

The Myrtles Plantation is rumoured to be located on an ancient burial Indian graveyard. Allegedly it is haunted by Cloe’s ghost who was a former slave. Her owner caught her spying on him and ordered to get her ear cut off. Cloe tried to get revenge by poisoning the cake which his wife and children ate. The owner’s entire family died. That's when he announced that she shall be hanged and her body parts to be thrown in the Mississippi river. Her spirit haunts the plantation to this very day asking for justice and mourning the pain that was caused to her by her owner.
